Will Sasso and Federico Dordei have joined Fox's comedy pilot Spaced.

The Hollywood Reporter says Spaced revolves around two strangers (one played by Josh Lawson) who pose as a married couple in order to rent an apartment and become intimately involved with the other misfits in the building.

Mad TV alum Sasso will play the guy's best friend who believes in government conspiracies. Dordei will play a neighbor who is a struggling artist.

I've seen the Brit series. It was actually funny. While it was a little slow, when can you honestly say was the last time you watched a TV show that regularly had you laughing out-loud? Keep in mind this isn't in the same vein as an adult swim toon or south park. Sasso's hilarious. If anyone can find a way to make an American version of this funny... Just think of all the mediocre skits he saved on MadTV. El Bag of Crappo, anyone?

Oh jeez what bull crap man. Fox's comedy pilot? How about "Fox's comedy pilot that McG stole from Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg without even asking pilot!"

I hope to God this show fails. The original British version is pure genious and it won't translate to an American audience whatsoever. Especially since McG is the one adapting it.

They stole this right out from under Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg.

Buy the Spaced DVD which is coming out in America this Summer. Or get an all region DVD player and buy the British DVD like I did. Don't waste your time with the remake.

This sounds stupid. Will Sasso is hilarious and deserves better work. The only time I really enjoyed Mad TV was when he was on it. He does the best Arnold impression I've ever seen.
