It's Friday afternoon. I rush home to get settled in my favorite chair in front of the TV; maybe grab a snack on my way to the ON button, and the journey begins. I am engulfed in a horrific, spooky, sarcastic, awesome, alternate reality of ghosts, angels, demons, and everything else that goes bump in the night. Supernatural is a TV show that debuted on September 13, 2005. Its first five seasons, written by Eric Kripke, aired on The WB. It is now shown on The CW. Its premise is about two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, whose mother died in a mysterious, supernatural house fire caused by a demon out to destroy their family. After this dastardly event, the Winchester Brothers devote their lives road tripping from state to state, staying in cheap, filthy motels, fighting paranormal evil. They encounter demons, ghosts, spirits, werewolves, vampires, shape shifters, witches, and even the devil himself - the King of Evil, making for an intense, action packed thriller all in one hour of each episode. The primary aspect of good verses evil is the ongoing melee between God and Satan as well as demons against angels. The story lines are often deep and emotional, and truly make you think of where your life is taking you. It encourages you to challenge yourself on the decisions and choices you are making in life, and where they might take you. "It's always been a show about family, much more than it is about anything else. The mythology is only an engine to raise issues about family. A big brother watching out for a little brother, wondering if you have to kill the person you love most, family loyalty versus the greater good, family obligation versus personal happiness," says writer, Kripke about his prized show. Though it is a nail-biting show, packed with action and doused with blood and guts, Sam and Dean have plenty of personality within their characters. Dean, the owner of the show's signature car - a '67 Impala that he blasts his dad's classic rock in - is quite a few years older than Sam, and is a rough-around-the-edges type of guy. He's typically known to have a hard exterior, but when it comes to his brother, his protective family-centered side comes rushing to the surface. ("What do you want me to do, Sam, huh? Sit around all day writing sad poems about how I'm going to die? You know what, I've got one. Let's see, what rhymes with 'Shut up, Sam.'")
Sam, on the other hand, is sensitive and understanding, yet stands at a strong 6'4". Though Sam is always keeping Dean in line, and guiding him toward doing the right thing, he is often bossed around by him, mainly because their father, who was, and is, also a "hunter" (someone who fights and kills evil supernatural things), was often gone on "hunting" trips while they were kids, and Dean had to raise Sam himself, as a young boy. ("No drinking, no gambling, no pre-marital sex. Dean, they basically just outlawed 90% of your personality.") The Winchester brothers are definitely considered outlaws who often find themselves in situations where they are outmatched with an inadequate supply of weapons to protect themselves, but the reason they ultimately succeed is because they have each other to rely on. This show hits home with its viewers because everyone can relate to the family feuds between these brothers. They're constantly bickering and putting one another in awkward situations, creating a relatable, humorous, and comfortable atmosphere. Through these ever-present family squabbles and fights - whether comical, thrilling, or miserable - we are intrigued not only by the intense, terrifying scenes, but also by the dialogue between characters, and the element of reality in each episode. ("Sam: Okay, last words? Dean: I think I'm good. Sam: Yeah, me too. Dean: Here goes nothing.")
I also like the relationship the Winchester brothers have with their dad's friend, Bobby, who, in their father's absence, has taken the role of their father figure. They even call him their uncle. Sam and Dean are very respectful towards him and I like that they respect their elders, and realize that family comes first. Within every battle between good and evil, Supernatural continuously exemplifies family dynamics and the loyalty amongst siblings. This reminds me of my own family and siblings. We've all felt and strived to protect and improve relationships within our families, and this show demonstrates the importance of such as the Winchester brothers give their lives for a member of their family. I love that the good guy always wins, although it is a constant struggle. The blood, guts and gore often repulse me, however, they bring in a bit of humor in to the bloodiest episodes by making a huge blood splat on the wall, window, sheet, whatever surface, whenever it gets too intense, and the mood is considerably lightened. Although the acting is not superb, the gory portion is obviously fake, and you always know the male protagonists will win, the story line is captivating, and the family interactions keep me guessing and wanting to see more, on edge of my seat. Supernatural has given me perspective and respect for my family, my luxurious life in comparison, and my normal, civilian life. It's also given me an appreciation to recognize good versus evil because although our lives will never be this grandiose and exaggerated, the adversary can lay a hand on all of us in one way or another, and we all need to fight to stay on the right side.

In my opinion Supernatural Is a best For New generation. Everyday i watch this tv show with full interest. All sesons are my favorite.
