It isn't great. The writing isn't incredible and some of the acting is a bit over the top. BUT , it's addictive. It's different than anything on TV, and the characters are fun to follow. ALOT of gore and sex, so much sex in fact, it will turn some people off. But if you can get past that, the show overall is a fun ride, and the vampire mythology is being redone and updated thru this Southern vampire tale. A modern, southern , vampire, love thriller. Only way I can describe it ;-) SOOKIE !!!!
