The X-Files (1993 - 2002): Review By Brian
All-time favorite hour of television!

Ah, it was a different time then, but even what may seem a bit dated compared to today's TV visual FX, nothing matches The X-Files' creepiness and storytelling. Season 1 through season 7 of the show holds such intrigue and mystery, it's no wonder the series spawned legions of fans worldwide continually wanting the truth! Something which The X-Files never blatantly gave up, and this only kept us all coming back for more.
Like the macabre essence of it's predecessors like The Twilight Zone, The X-Files is a true classic and will stand the test of time throughout the decades.

I think this will always be my favorite series on television, even though Supernatural is running a close second.

True that, Beebs. I just recently completed my DVD sets of the entire series. Well worth the buy! Well, they COULD offer them at a lower price... Seasons 4 and 5 were my favorite, the darkest of the series. Remember "Home," or "Memento Mori" - now that was my fave ep.

Dude, I absolutely love the X-Files--haven't seen the new movie though--heard it was awful and didn't cater to actual fans of the series at all. Even still... The old 'Files' remain one of television's finest shows to ever air. That Fiji Mermaid episode still gives me the creeps... And Gillian Anderson... Oh man... She still looks amazing.
