Great breath of fresh air to the zombie genre

    SUPERB
The walking dead-a title that takes multiple meanings and not just one. When people hear the title, their immediate assumption are zombies. The story however not only revolves around zombies but it revolves around people who are struggling to survive. This is the other reason in which why the show is called "the walking dead" people who are dead not physically but spiritually. Ingenious title.

The story- a cop wakes up to find his city overrun by zombies and the mission he has established for himself: Find his wife and son. A good subplot, but it sounds like one that I have heard before in a zombie flick. The other subplots however make this series amazing. For ex: a scene where Morgan is sniping zombies, which are called "walkers" in the series, he posts a photo of his wife on the window and starts firing shots in anger. He then sees his wife, who is now a walker, walking towards the sound of the gunshots as are other multiple walkers. He struggles with the love for his wife and tries to kill her but he cannot and he breaks down as the walkers leave no longer hearing any gunshots coming from Morgan's rifle. Amazing job in filming the scene in POV shots which really give a dramatic effect to the audience and shots in which give terror, suspense through an emotional concept. Excellent job there. Another subplot which involves the cop, Rick, and his friend Shane who is having an affair with his wife Lori. Lori is unaware that Rick is still alive. Great multiple subplots that all add up to a great main storyline.

The next episodes I really look forward to and I hope that this series does not stray from keeping subplots in consistency and keeping the main idea of the story intact, which is basically survival.

@matertua-lee-loyer True, we're not. But, there is nothing wrong about your peers holding you accountable to writing effectively, legible, and shooting for completeness of one's thoughts. @daveactor7 did a good job here, considering he had only a few episodes to work with.

@Narrator You can write reviews for specific episodes. I did a review on episodes of Justice League.

I thought there was the ability to create reviews for specific episodes... guess not. Well, decent review Dave. A few typos, and a bit short winded, but not bad man. However, since we're no longer able to review individual episodes you might have wanted to wait till the season finale at least? Lol.

Writing a review for a series is rough on me, especially if it's still running. Never know if it will get canceled or what. I tend to wait until the series is over, or once the first season is out, but that's me.
