(Freakazoid) Dumb, dumb, dumb! Never tell the villian how to trap you in a cage! (Guitierrez) You probably shouldn't have helped us build it, either. (Freakazoid) I know. Dumb!
A little over a decade ago, an animated series aired with the same comic flare as other WB animated ventures, but few seemed to care. Random humor is a hard nut to swallow for some. But not for me. I love well thought out random humor, and this show is unsurpassed in its ability to deliver laughs. What weakens the show is its dated references and the overuse of side characters that weren't all that funny. Season two corrected this problem by featuring more episodes of Freakazoid instead of these side characters (who later complain and ask if they still have a job in season 2--classic!). Endless antics, numerous funny lines (although episodic), and a superhero themed version of Animaniacs, Freakazoid is a rent worthy TV series with two seasons.
A boy named Dexter is sucked into the Internet, becoming a Freakazoid, a being with superhuman strength and speed (and a knack for annoying baddies). What is a nerd to do when his alter-ego is a chick magnet?
The show was canceled, but the people behind the show were cool enough to end the series on a high note, confirming the show's end with certain clarity.

It's funny, but dated, unless you understand 90's events and the gags around them. The dialogue is what makes this show special.
