    SUPERB
If you turn on the TV nowadays, the only things you're going to find are mindless shows about vampires, crimes scenes, and shows about who's cheating on who. Granted most of the crime shows on television are my favorite, ex.. CSI(Las Vegas) and NCIS. But you have to admit that after awhile most of these shows get boring. "Dexter", which premiered way back in 2006, is a show made exclusively for Showtime. Its both fun, original, and just pure entertainment. Despite the dark story and themes, its that perfect thing to watch on weekends when you got nothing else to do.

The story follows blood splatter analyst Dexter Morgan. He's got the good life. A healthy relationship, kids(soon to premiere on season 4), and a somewhat "fun" job. Well at nights when hes not piled high with work like the rest of us, he goes out and kills. Yes the hero and main protagonist of the show is a serial killer. But that doesn't mean its a bad thing. You see Dexter kills bad guys. Criminals he hunts like we hunt wild game. Whether this is a good thing or not, its basically an opinionated answer. But something thats not opinionated is that this is one of the most clever shows on television.

Dexter is portrayed by Michael C Hall. Who is absolutely brilliant in his role as a sociopath good doer. He fill each and everyone of his scenes with dark rich humor. That is what makes the show so fun. It's not about who's screwing who or whos the nation's newest threat its the everyday guy ridding the world of one more evil doer. Even if hes evil himself. But hey at least that's more entertaining than who just got voted off he island.

Dexter on Sundays at 10:00 pm on Showtime

I've always seen Dexter as just taking out the trash. He's a hero in my book.
