Dexter season 2 : overall series still a 10 but for this season i give it a 8.5

America's favorite serial killer is back , but unlike season 1 he is not following any of the second book story lines ( and with this season endings clearly never will , shame).Instead our beloved psychopath has kinda lost his edge .Ever since he killed the ice truck killer he can not seem to kill any of his chosen victims .

The main story line this season revolves around the police finding Dexter's hidden deep sea treasures. And around Dexter trying to find himself with an attrative pale most of the time topless women that understands him a bit more then Rita , and we also can always count on deer old Doaks to be right on Dexter's tail.

Except for Agent Lundy's apperance and that romance story line with Debra ,there in absolutly nothing from the second book . The writers clearly wanted to make this series there own , even if the books are a bit better , this t.v. series is the best one out there. I was a bit disapointed that they decided to ad a love triangle to the mix , it really felt to Desperate house wife for me , but i loved it none the less.A must see and own for any slasher/serail killer fan

    I dont know , I dont have HBO ( am canadian) waiting for it to be released in august there , really cant wait , but like i mention shame the writters were a bit to p*ssy to take us were the books does
