Dexter (2006 - Present): Review By AlaskaLoneWolf

Dexter is a new drama series based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay. Taking place in Miami, Florida, the show revolves around Dexter Morgan, (in real life Michael Hall), who plays a serial killer who works for the police department as an analyst. This is quite the departure from your average television show these days. To start with, I've watched pretty much all the cop shows since "Hill Street Blues" and "Cagney & Lacey" especially taking interest, at least at first, in the "COPS" reality television franchise... but this show gives me something a bit different. I actually like this show. For all of its flaws and novice actors, this one really shows some promise, at least to me.
