Throughout the latest season of "Dexter," Professor Geller who's apparently been coaching Travis Marshall in the Doomsday killings hasn't really contributed at all. He behaves like he's an imaginary friend of Travis, who may therefore be schizophrenic. Sure, Geller was real at some point, as he is being investigated, but the fact that Geller never physically interacts with anyone or anything--including Travis--seems to indicate that Travis killed him for getting to him too much, and now he can't drive his memory from his head. Think about this, and go back and review the episodes. Just when do you think Geller's body will turn up? After all, Dexter's imagination of his father behaves and reacts in the same manner as Geller. Plus, Geller was on the front page of a major newspaper wanted for many gruesome crimes, yet nobody took notice to him at the bar or out in public. Thoughts?
You think Pike and Sykes haven't been watchin' us. They know what this is all about - and what do I have? Nothin' but you egg-suckin', chicken stealing gutter trash with not even sixty rounds between you. We're after men - and I wish to God I was with 'em

I think that there is a cult and things are going to get crazy and if it follows any of the books that i think they are riffing on....well....i better stop there just in case they ARE using a certain book in the series for a blueprint.
However, they have strayed from the books ever since the first series and the point that you bring up @slysnide is excellent. You are very observent no doubt. perhaps he does have his own dark passenger.

I think....that is what they want you to think tho. I hope its going inthe direction that i see....which i wont go in to as i said but if they do i will just say this: It is very bad for Dexter in some ways. SOME.

@slysnide Makes sense. I've picked on people not noticing his character as well. Also, bummed that Dexter had only one whole episode of indulging in his dark side with his brother. Booo! :P
@dan1: I know. I liked the idea that they were gonna let him play around with his dark side. I mean even the redneck he killed was a bad guy, well, sorta. That's the one thing MCH is terrible at, acting like he's getting true satisfaction from his kills like real serial killers get. He doesn't seem to be getting off on what he does at all. He just seems angry that his victims are always in denial about their misdeeds and kills them outta frustration. When his brother started getting to him, I was like "yeah finally let's see you let loose Dex!" But I guess not. Oh well. Maybe next season? {I know, wishful thinking huh?}

@dan1@skywise: Also, you wouldn't see an old guy and young guy chilling at a younger people's bar/nightclub. It'd raise eyebrows and turn heads. Plus the chick who Travis released only mentioned Travis calling someone the Professor, but never hearing him talk, or at least she never mentioned that he said anything. Also, the picture returning behind Travis' toaster. Geller seems more like a straightforward guy who'd say, leave it by his bedside instead of hiding it. Based on his interactions in the "Nebraska" episode, I'd say it'd be very surprising if he's not real. Like recall how he's just watching him outside the kitchen window rather than just knocking on the door. Yeah I say he's Travis' dark passenger. Based also on how Dexter seems to be closing in on him in the 9th episode preview, then it'd be too early to chase down a weak old man (easy for Dex) rather than say, have that twist. Yeah I can't wait for Sunday's episode.

@slysnide ONe thing you can count on in Dexter is that there will be some cool twist and turns. I think you have put the pieces together very well. Cant wait to see the outcome.

@Showtime123: Apparently you've never watched the series. Otherwise you'd note the obvious reasons that Harry doesn't exist (besides the fact that he's dead), and neither does Dex's brother. I'll be expecting you to comment back here when the twist comes.

@Dylan-Crain: True, but if it's loud enough maybe they didn't notice. Everyone else seemed to be drunk & partying as opposed to Travis & Geller.

@pjwolsker: Was that revealed on tonight's episode? I haven't seen it since I don't have Showtime. I see it second handedly later in the week from my dad's coworkers.

@pjwolsker: No worries man. Last week's episode made it abundantly clear, as an older feeble man can't just jump out a 30' something window without making a sound, or not rustling the vines on his way down, or making noise from that. Plus he harasses Travis cause he needed him to assist, so there's no way he could've knocked him out, dragged him to the church, then killed and dollied up Travis' sister without help. And the tags that read 1002 or 1003 whatever they were wouldn't have been placed on her body cause in Travis' mind, Geller killed his sister, and not him. So @Showtime123, where are you? I thought we were idiots. But I suppose the fact that pj, @dan1, @skywise, @timmy, and I have been vigilant enough to realize this possibility (now fact) makes us more intelligent than you, regardless of whether we were right or wrong, as we were still paying attention and using our heads. lolz.
