This NBC drama puts the spotlight on the lives of police officers living and working in Los Angeles. Southland stars Kevin Alejandro as Det. Nate Moretta, Arija Bareikis as Officer Chickie Brown, Michael Cudlitz as Officer John Cooper, Shawn Hatosy as Det. Sammy Bryant, Regina King as Det. Lydia Adams, Michael McGrady as Det. @dan1 Their next show will be targeted for kids and will be spinning off from Dreamworks Turbo. I'm interested, but also aware that it could be on the same path as Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon when it comes to each episode.

@dan! YES! My thoughts exactly. I'm also impressed that Netflix doesn't have to limit themselves to crossing any lines. They can play with the tone as much as they like, giving subscription providers like HBO, Showtime and Starzs, etc. competition.

@bawnian-dexeus Spacey's breaking of the 4th wall keeps me constantly intrigued. I feel like he's talking to me personally, and I find myself more invested in the story that way. And he just KILLS that role. As does the rest of the cast, not a weak character in the show.
