I'm sure that some of you guys have probably seen some of those previews on USA for that new show, In Plain Sight by now?? I caught like 5, just last Sunday...haha.
I am looking forward to it, tho. Looks like there's some good chemistry between the lead characters. The lead looks kinda edgy, yet vulnerable aaaand sexy!!
I need a new program to get into for the summer, too...
This is one I'm gonna check out. The summer season is starting to look as good as the "regular" television season. I hope to add this one to my viewing schedule on a regular basis.
By the way SPK since you are a Law & Order: Criminal Intent fan, did you know that it's second half of the season (12 episodes) will premier next Sunday at 9:00pm leading into In Plain Sight? Hopefully a good marriage and a great Sunday night lineup for the summer. I also heard that USA Network is planning on L&O:CI to return in the new season, possibly bringing back Detective Megan Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson). I guess they are still working out the details but it looks good for us fans.
First impressions....OK. Worth a second look. I like the cast (especially McCormack) and the premise of the series. First episodes introduce the characters and story line but you need to experience more before you can really judge a series. (I just wish the networks realized this) It does appear that the producers are trying to tap into the appeal of TNT's Saving Grace and since I like that show I'll probably like this one too. The Sunday night schedule and the Law & Order: Criminal Intent lead in isn't going to hurt either. Looking forward to seeing the next episode so I guess USA Network should be happy.
Second episode and it's still looking good. Great story line. Softened her up a bit. I'm not liking the mother and sister characters though. Just have to wait and see. I'll still be tuning in next Sunday.
Yeah the sister is hot. She may not seem the type to be impressed with that ring stunt but her reaction was way over the top in my opinion. I'm not sure what the writers were thinking. Don't you think Rafael's character seems a bit too old to just now be called up to play Major League Baseball? Still a good show and I'm looking forward to next week with Dave Foley.
And, that one part where she was pushing the cupcake away and was like, "I don't want that...I want 'this'..." Ugghh...I was so envious of de la Fuente...lucky bum!!
And, yeah...he's no spring chicken, but I could see him playing ball at that age...do you think he even actually got on the plane??
The few clips they showed with Foley in the teaser were funny...this Sunday should be a good ep., for sure...
Just a reminder. Season Finale this Sunday, August 17th. It's been a great season and I'm glad it will be back for a 16 episode second season. Probably a split like the do with Monk and Psych.
Well I was wrong, at least at this point, about a split season because IPS won't return until next summer. However with sixteen episodes I'm speculating that it will have a split season in 2009/2010. Also on the shows news front, Cristian de la Fuente, Raphael Ramirez (aka: Chico) will return as a regular next season. Now about the season ender. I think it was good that all that family stuff was brought out in the open, not just for the characters but for us viewers too. A lot was explained that way. The sister and mother still really annoy me though. I loved what Raphael did for the family. What a great ending! Were you as surpised as I was as to how the whole drug thing was handled? Oh and the FBI search of Mary's house was way too over the top. It would never have happened that way. Too much damage to the place. Overall though a great first season ender and a very satisfactory first season.
Ok, bringing this back from the dead because this season has been AWESOME. I'm loving s2 even more than 1. There have been some awesome plot so far and that scene 2 weeks ago with Brandi giving the speech to the alcoholics anonymous class was awesome.

Well, after all of the spots that I've been seeing over the past few weeks, I'm definitely interested to see how the premiere turns out, tonight...
TV.com, has a synopsis involving the mob, so looks like they're coming out out big!?

Wow...someone with some sense, impressive!!?! Ha ha...
Nah, definitely true, though. I thought the pilot was good, but am also really looking forward to tonight, to see where they 'really' take things.
The show should have a lot of leverage, as far as direction...with some of the supporting cast, as well...
Did ya catch it tonight?? Adds some drama to the sub-plot, but I'm not sure what Raphael was thinking, with that whole ring-in-the-cupcake thing...
Mary doesn't seem like the kind of girl that would find that impressive!?

Really liked the emphasis on Mary and Marshall's friend(relation)ship.
Did you watch last Sunday? Unless missed something, we still don't even know who shot him, do we??

This one's worth watching just on it's own, but it's awesome that these are up on hulu--
