Watched Alcatraz last night, loved it! The whole mystery about prisoners returning to the present day had me thinking, what if back in the 1960's the gov't was doing some sort of "time travel" experiment on prisoners at Alcatraz and that's why they're popping up in San Fran? Share your thoughts about the show, what you think of it and if you have any theories, post them :)
@ghostman Well, I was actually just joking because of how similar Alcatraz is to Fringe (it also feels similar to Abrams's first TV success, Alias), but across-over would be cool.
@ejk1 I loved the score of the show had a little Super 8 theme to it, and the first hour felt like Terminator for some reason in how Sylvane went around killing people. If you want to talk about cross-overs, for we know this could be happening inside the mind of Hurley haha!
@ejk1 Wow...i'm impressed, you took it in a complete circle with Alias, Lost, Fringe, and Alcatraz all connected together, now what other show can we use?
I hope there isn't a cross-over. I seriously hope the show starts explaining stuff soon. With Lost, at least everything made sense until we figured out the answers to the questions. With this show, our questions lead to plot-flaws and such.
Im pretty disappointed by the show thus far, Ill continue watching it in hopes of it getting better. But I have a bad feeling, first off I hate the main chick, ugly, stupid, plain, dull, boring, annoying character. She must die!
@corey I can assure you their won't be a cross-over. So far, the show is okay, i like it a lot. Only question is, will it start getting confusing/complicated later on in the series?
I'm totally invested in this show. So much more than I could ever say for Lost! But as for my theories, I'm going to have to say either cloning or just straight up time travel. Both seem like very Abrams things to do, although they're both entirely predictable. And the only gripe I have about this show is that they're taking more time making the villains interesting than the main character. Soto is awesome, and so is Hauser, but Madsen is just so boring to watch so far!
