When I saw this episode for a preview from last week I thought, "OMG, this show will end up jumping the shark with this 'spear of destiny' plot" and boy I was right. David Mamet is a talented writer and this show is very good in my opinion when it comes to showing the evils of Islamofacism but, I think it is straying from the norm when The Unit members are slowly being turned into a "let's solve everything" type unit. From the episode where Jonas is playing bacarach ala James Bond to the members askedto find the Spear of Destiny...c'mon, get real.

I totally agree. This was the worst episode in this show's entire history...and I've seen them all. Please, let's get back to the core of what makes this show original and great: gritty stories and snapshots of missions and the lives of counter-terrorists and their families. Just stop with the rediculous, made up religio-history fantasy & super-spy tuxedo games. Leave it to Indiana Jones and James Bond and get back to good drama.
