After being persuaded by Jenny to audition, RJ lands the lead in Pinkerton's 'Twilight'/'West Side Story' mash-up musical, 'Vamp Side Story.'
Cast as Jenny's love interest, vampire Anthony, the two soon learn of a scripted on-stage kiss, but are instructed not to lock lips until opening night.
Later during the show's debut, Mr. and Mrs. Berger, along with a packed auditorium, watch RJ and Jenny lead the show strongly...until the big climax. Due to non-practice and RJ's feelings for Jenny, he becomes aroused when she kisses him, causing 'Vamp Side Story''s abrupt, and humiliating, end.
