Ok, I am watching season 1 on DVD. I have seen the first 4 episodes. This is the second, and because this one wasn't that great, I had almost lost hope in the show. The first episode was great! This one wasn't. It seemed motionless, and kind of boring. Not a whole lot goes on in this episode. Of course you have to watch it, just because you have to. Not bcause it's good, but you will be lost when you watch the third episode. Do not worry, they get better. Not all Dexter's are like this. The other one's I have watched are probaly worth 4.5 stars!
Sadly you can't skip this episode, but when you watch it, prepare for nothing as good as the other ones.
oh, and I don't understand why this episode is called "Crocodile". There must have been some metaphor that I missed, because there was no crocdile in this episode.

There's a lot of sh*t, metaphor and symbolism wise, that you can miss, they haven't replayed it on Showtime yet and I have it way down the list on Netflix, and I'm waiting for Blu-Ray, or will buy regular when they have the big boxset, so I cant really remember the episode, to give you help, but all will become clear during the second seasons, when you watch it and I missed about three or four of the 1st season, then I stop watching it but had to start watching the 2nd season, it gets so much better, because its got its formula down, and I can't wait for 3.
