"Not exactly what you would expect from a "Tales from the Crypt" episode." - The CryptKeeper
This episode is about a mental patient, dressed up as Santa Clause, stalkng a woman and daughter on Christmas night. Hmmmmm... not too original, but it calls for some hysterical laughs. Yep, that's right, I said laughs and not scares. This one is not even close to scary. It's a laugh riot! The funniest part is that this was suppose to be taken seriously! haha. That's funny stuff.

The acting is hiliarous. And the lead woman is so stupid, you'd think that she WANTS the fake Santa to kill her and her daughter.

Example of stupidity- *contains minor spoilers*

Ok, so the woman is looking for a gun in the closet. Then a ladder appears right outside the window. Then she sees Santa climbing it. He is going to the little girl's room. Instead of breaking the window, and pushing down the ladder, she forgets about the gun, and starts screaming. Then she exits the closet, and goes up to her daughter's room. SHE IS SOOOO STUPID!! She just fogets about the gun, and doesn't even break the window to push down the ladder. What a moron.

*end of spoilers*

So I like this episode because of the laughs, not the scares.

Another funny thing is that the director is Robert Zemeckis. He has brought us mostly good movies like Cast Away, and Forrest Gump. But he has also brought us the retarded movie, Beowulf. I am surprised he did somethig this tragic.

The Cryptkeeper is not on the top of his game here. He dressed up as Santa, but this is the first season, where he isn't as funny as he is in the later seasons. Oh, well. This is a great episode, but not to be taken seriously.

Fun Fact- Robert Zemekis's wife is the lead. What a terrible actress, sorry Robert.
