It should be perfectly fine as long as the episodes stay like the "Pilot"...

Seeing plenty of clips and hearing news on NBC'S new comedy-series, "Perfect Couples", I was damn excited to add another group of characters into my Thursday night of comedy. My expectations came true, "Perfect Couple" not only grasps good humor but it holds up a lot of potential for the future about relationships, that other shows don't really focus on. In just twenty-two minutes I was able to understand the point in all three couples. One couple is too perfect, another is miserable, and the third is just really odd. All of the couples have their perfect chemistry though with each other and with other characters as well. The writers of the show do a nice job with the whole set-up as well. I liked the title in the beginning "What Not To Do On Your Anniversary" and I hope they stick with doing these little relationship lessons throughout the series. As for the performances, they all seem good, so far. "Perfect Couples" had a perfect pilot in my opinon

This first episode, as I mentioned, is about the anniversary of Dave and Julia. When their friends, Rex and Leigh hope to have Saturday night (their anniversary night) with them, they hatch a plan to hang out with them Friday night to canel the other plans for a night alone. The idea: Friday night game night. When Vance and Amy, a very un-healthy couple are invited, the night turns into chaos and leads up to a anniversary that questions Dave and Julia's "perfect" relationship. The episode offers more than a few laughs and the writing was quite good. First episode...not too shabby.

For a first episode, "Perfect Couples" does a great job introducing us to these six characters. The chemistry works great, the humor balances perfectly, and the "relationship lessons" idea to the show is really interesting and I look very forward to tuning into this series every Thursday night. I recommend it.

Thanks for the read!
