Welcome everyone to the quick rundown of Melrose Place. The New, New Melrose Place. 2009 baby. I remember watching the 90's version and it was great. You know why, huh? Because it was absolutely scandalous. I mean when you think of a word like 'scandalous', Melrose Place must come to your mind. Desperate Housewives don't have anything on this greatest expression of scandals. If you don't know about this great show, the 90's version starred Thomas Calabro, who also stars in this updated version, Andrew Shue, Heather Locklear and Laura Leighton. This new version stars Katie Cassidy, Stephanie Jacobsen, Ashlie Simpson, who's terrible, and Jessica Lucas.

Obviously, this is the first episode and it basically centers on Sydney Andrews, who is the landlord of a Spanish-trendy apartment building set in the Melrose neighborhood, and her tenants are young twenty something adults. She's also involved in every area of each of there lives, spiritually, emotionally and sexually. She starts sleeping with David Breck, the son of Michael Mancini. Sydney also has quarrels with Ella Simms, and she threatens to evict Ella and ruin her rising career. Auggie Kirkpatrick and Sydney meant each other at an AA meeting and since then, they've been in each others pants. She's also helped him in his career of becoming a sous chef. However, Sydney picks up a terrible drinking habit and Auggie wants to keep his distance which angers her. Also, there are other tenants with major problems like Lauren Yung, who is sexy as hell, and she's also a medical student who's struggling with paying her student loans. Jonah Miller, an aspiring filmmaker, and his live in girlfriend who's he already proposed to Riley Richmond, a school teacher are also tenants in this apartment. There's also a new tenant, Violet Foster, who's surrounded by mystery.

All of sudden, a body in found in the country yard pool, and guess what? It's Sydney Andrews. I thought she was going to be a major part of the show. What the Hell! No there's this whole big mystery of who did it, and David Breck is the main suspect.

Once Sydney Andrews died, I felt anything could happen. This show just isn't scandalous; it's also mysterious and intense. Who gonna go next!? SCANDALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
