Totally impressed.
Tons of flash forwards with Derek Reese in the post-apocalyptic future, a familiar setting, but one never really explored until now. The CGI enhanced backdrops, the Hunter Killers in the sky, everything was better than any Terminator fan could have expected. I even liked what was going on better than what we see at the beginning of T2: Judgment Day, although, you know that's what the creators of the show were basing everything off of.
The details in this particular episode which relate to Kyle Reese are amazing just as well. Derek Reese walks into the battered hallway you've seen a million times in the first Terminator film during Kyle's own flash forwards, and picks up the mostly charred photo of Sarah Connor from the first film! Genius.
Although the episode teases and teases of a glimpse of what (or should I say who) John Connor is in the future, you have yet to see him...which in all honesty, is probably a good thing. This show's focus is on what leads up to Judgment Day, and John's struggle to survive.
All-in-all, so far this series has totally kept me enticed, but this episode in particular kicked my ass!
