@corey Not entirely true. Season 1 has a decent first episode, but episode 2 was awesome. We got Pearce and Jeff's weird presentation and the first Troy/Abed credit scene which has been homaged 2 or 3 more times in the show itself. First episode of Season 2 was a great start, too. Kicking it off strong with Betty White. This episode was written well, but not delievered well. It just wasn't funny. In fact, when I saw the promo for season 3 and seeing the group do that show stopping number I thought one of the episodes was going to be a muscial episode like so mnay sitcoms do. Already I'm let down for the season.

@SpaceCowboy Oh, and remember. Community always takes like 3 or 4 episodes to really get great! It happened in season one, happened again in season two, seems to be happening again here too. No worries. It'll pick up for sure!

@SpaceCowboy The Cougar Town thing was funny....because it's true haha.
I expected great things after that opening scene... but all hopes were shattered. The charm and humor has almost completey died.
Here's the dealio: The group is taking Biology 101 together, Pearce is back, Chang is living in the vents and becomes Greendale's new head of security, Dean Pelton is more sure that Greendale will chnage for better while he strides a short-lived McGraw beard, John Goodman takes over Greendale, Starburns added a lizard to his sideburns and tophat ensemble, Jeff goes on a Kubrick trip after being kicked out of class and doused with "monkey gas", Troy and Abed are living together, Abed is scared that Cougar Town will get cancelled since it's being moved to mid-season and Britta tries to help Abed by recommending British shows to him to fill the void. Where's this show headed?
