Beyond Scared Straight (2011 - Present): Chowchilla

Premiere of a new real-life series that takes viewers into some of the toughest prisons in America to observe inmate-run programs aimed at showing troubled teens the horrors of prison life in the hope of keeping today's kids from becoming tomorrow's convicts. Each episode focuses on a group of teens as they visit the prison, and then follows up with them one month later to see if they've changed their ways. In this episode, inmates at the Valley State Prison for Women try to keep five young girls from becoming convicts.
