‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ Brings in the Constructicons and Devastator

These seven construction vehicles will form to create one of the biggest robots in the franchise.

We learned from our friends over at IESB, who pointed us to the Transformers fansite TFW2005, that the Constructicons will be making an appearance in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. And the good news is that these seven construction vehicles will come together to form Devastator, one of the biggest, baddest robots this franchise has seen yet.

TFW2005 offered several details, including the fact that Devastator has a lot of upper body strength, sort of like a gorilla. The seven Constructicons vehicles will not all be green, some will be red and yellow. And that the original concept art by Josh Nizzi is legit (see attached image).

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will make its way into theaters on June 26th, 2009.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released June 24th, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Ramon Rodriguez, Kevin Dunn, Julie White. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

well when you're right, you're right.
either its a misprint or theyre just gonna make up a new name.
or theyre gonna make up ALL new names, you know michael bay doesnt give a sh*t, he just uses the cartoons as a general guideline, he doesnt care about accuracy or anything.

I look at the "Long Haul" pic above, and think (in addition to it being cool) "that is one big friggin robot". But than I go, "Holy sh*t! They're gonna connect 6 other huge robots to it!?!?1" I really hope it doesn't queer the movie.

Bay won't have to explain why they become what they do because he did in the first movie. Remember when Bumblebee scans the new Camaro? They can change shape once they are in the non-Cybertron form. Your asumption is that they are not decepticons from Cybertron.

  18. Mad_Max

Since it will mostly be a General Motors vehicle movie, they need to show Sunstreaker and Sideswipe as a 98-02 Trans Am and Camaro and Hot Rod as a Vette.

  20. Dyablo

And Michael Bay have to explain what is the Sparke because in the fist Film, Optimus tell to Shea to put the Cube insine is chest to destroy it whit is Sparke.
Many people don't know about this.

    7 years agoby @dyabloFlag

  21. Dyablo

Good point Leo. But..... If you look Beastwars or BeastMachines, you can see in some episode what give life and personality to all Transformers. The Sparke. All Transformers have this in chest. A little shiny Sphere whit light inside. This is the heart for this machine. You can break body, cut head but, if you not destroy the Sparke, this robot dont' die.If Micheal Bay have this information, probably he can revive Bonecrush to be part of Devastator.
The problem i have, in the fist episode, Shea Leboeuf put the Old Sparke (Cube) in the chest of Megatron and i dont no if the Sparke was destroy because in the history of the Transformers, the only way to destroy Megatron, is Optimus Prime. He have to reformate is Sparke and Megatron Sparke at then same time to destroy him.
But... i don't no was is the plan of Mr. Bay.
