@narrator I don't disagree. I just took more exception with the fact that Speech won over Social Network and Black Swan than I did with it winning in general.

I agree with Button, Road, and Wrestler being greater Best Picture films than Slumbdog, @thedude-abides. TDK never really stood a chance, unfortunately, and Milk was a disappointment for me. And I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who found Crash and The Artist undeserving of their BP Oscars. In fact, I'd add The Kings Speech to that list.

@narrator Totally. Benjamin Button, Revolutionary Road, The Wrestler, Dark Knight, and Milk, I thought, all deserved to win over Slumdog Millionaire. Considering the competition in 2008, I think it's one of the worst movies in recent history to win Best Picture, along with Crash and The Artist, respectively.

So I take it that you agree with me that The Curious Case of Benjamin Button should totally have won Best Picture as opposed to Slumbdog, @thedude-abides?

@narrator Not really. I just can't stand his directing style. This is just my opinion, but I find it to be way too franetic. I honestly don't think he could hold a shot if his life depended on it.
