House star Hugh Laurie is in talks to play the primary villain in Disney's secretive sci-fi project Tomorrowland, alongside George Clooney. Naturally, since very little is know about the movie itself, no character details were given.

The story is said to be in the same vein as the 1977 Steven Spielberg classic Close Encounters of the Third Kind, which followed a man searching for extra-terrestrials on Earth.

Nothing has been confirmed in regards to the story, but a report from earlier this month uncovered clues from a "mystery box" that was revealed on director Brad Bird's Twitter page. The box contained a number of items connected to the year 1952, which was previously the movie's working title.

Brad Bird is directing from a screenplay by Damon Lindelof. It isn't known when production will begin.

Tomorrowland comes to theaters May 22nd, 2015 and stars Britt Robertson, Judy Greer, George Clooney, Kathryn Hahn, Hugh Laurie, Tim McGraw, Keegan Michael Key, Lochlyn Munro. The film is directed by Brad Bird.

Since this movie is set to be released on December 19th 2014, i wonder if Pirates 5's teaser trailer will be released by then, like when Pirates 4's teaser trailer was released when Tron Legacy came to theaters on December 17th 2010 ?

This project is shaping up incredibly well, between it's promising (and soon to be blooming) director, stellar cast, and Disney re-entering a cinematic hay-day with Marvel films. All in all, I have a feeling it'll sneak up on a lot of people.
