Thor: The Dark World is in no fear of flopping at the box office, and it's a fact that Marvel and Disney will keep making these superhero adventures as long as people are coming to see them. Which could be until the end of time. So, Marvel is continuing the fine tradition of teasing future Phase Two and Phase Three films during its end credit sequences. While Iron Man 3 was a slight disappointment in this area, we have word that Thor: The Dark World is guaranteed to please fans with not one, but two very awesome credit sequences.
We weren't given the specifics of these two scenes, as to not spoil the surprise. But you will definitely want to stay through the entire credit sequence run. A mid-credit scene will play in setting up an important future Phase Two storyline you don't want to miss, and is similar to the Thanos reveal, as it unmasked a never-before-seen character. The second cookie is a humorous sting not unlike the Schwarma joke at the end of Marvel's The Avengers.
In related news, Marvel and Disney have released over 30 never-before-seen photos from the movie, which tease quite a few key moments from Thor: The Dark World. While you daydream about those end credit scenes and what they may truly reveal, why not take a look at what you can expect in theaters this November.
Thor: The Dark World was released November 8th, 2013 and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Eccleston, Jaimie Alexander, Zachary Levi, Ray Stevenson. The film is directed by Alan Taylor.
