The Wachowski Starship’s ‘Jupiter Ascending’ Gets July 2014 Release Date

The studio has also shifted Peter Segal’s upcoming sports drama ‘Grudge Match’ to January 10, 2014 from November 15, 2013.

Warner Bros. has given the sci-fi project Jupiter Ascending a July 25, 2014 release date. They have also moved Peter Segal's action film Grudge Match to January 10, 2014 from it original November 15, 2013 date.

Directed by the Wachowski Starship (Andy Wachowski; Lana Wachowski) Jupiter Ascending is set in a universe where humans are near the bottom of the evolutionary ladder. Mila Kunis stars as a Russian immigrant, who has the same genetic makeup as the Queen of the Universe. She is targeted for assassination after the Queen discovers that the immigrant is a threat to her reign.

Grudge Match stars Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro as retired boxers Billy The Kid McGuigan and Henry Razor Sharp. The veteran boxers are persuaded to take part in one last match, fifty years after their last championship fight.

Jupiter Ascending was released February 6th, 2015 and stars Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, Douglas Booth, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Vanessa Kirby, Terry Gilliam, James D'Arcy. The film is directed by Andy Wachowski, Lana Wachowski.

Grudge Match was released December 25th, 2013 and stars Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone, Jon Bernthal, Kim Basinger, Kevin Hart, Alan Arkin, Corrina Roshea, Stephanie Grote. The film is directed by Peter Segal.
