Last month, we reported that Lionsgate finalized its acquisition of Summit Entertainment, which puts the mega-franchise The Twilight Saga and the forthcoming franchise The Hunger Games under the same studio roof. During a conference call to investors this morning, Lionsgate revealed the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 will be attached to prints of The Hunger Games, hitting theaters March 23.

Here's what Lionsgate chief executive Jon Feltenheimer had to say.

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 trailer will debut exclusively on every Hunger Games print on its opening night for what will be Lions Gate's largest release ever."

It isn't known when the trailer will make its online debut as of yet. In related news, new Lionsgate co-chairman and Summit co-chief Rob Friedman said the studio would be open to making another The Twilight Saga movie, but only if Stephenie Meyer writes a new book. We reported last month that there were some rumors about The Twilight Saga continuing, in one form or another, although it isn't known if Stephenie Meyer is planning on writing a new book at this point.
