‘The Samurai’ Lands at Warner Bros.

Gavin O’Connor will direct this international thriller from a script he co-wrote with Michael J. Wilson.

Warner Bros. has acquired the spec script The Samurai from Gavin O'Connor (Warrior) and Michael J. Wilson (Ice Age).

Little is known about the story, although it is described as a, "brutal international thriller," which also features a love story. The movie will take place in several international locations, although no specific locales were given. It isn't known if this will be a period piece or if The Samurai is set in modern times.

It is believed that The Samurai will be Gavin O'Connor's next project as a director. No production schedule was given for The Samurai yet.
