‘The Man with the Iron Fists’ Animated Prequel

RZA’s Blacksmith has a deadly encounter on his way to China in this prelude to the kung fu thriller, opening November 2nd.

RZA makes his directorial debut on November 2nd with the kung fu epic The Man with the Iron Fists. To kick off this potential trilogy, Universal Pictures has released an animated prequel that introduces RZA's character. Watch as The Blacksmith makes his way to China aboard a Dutch trading vessel that runs into a deadly force during a routine port stop.

The Man with the Iron Fists was released November 2nd, 2012 and stars RZA, Rick Yune, Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, Dave Bautista, Jamie Chung, Cung Le, Byron Mann. The film is directed by RZA.

    @thedude-abides Well, my profesor made an interesting point about music artists. They can become famous, sell out stadiums in their world tours and sell singles and their full albums, but in the end, most of their money will come from perfumes, clothe lines, and other products not related to music.

    @thedude-abides Ah well. I'm no fan of RZA but I'm intrigued. Plust there are some fans of his in my university who will be watching it so least I have an excuse to no go by myself. Would have been interesting to see them air it on FX as an animated mini series. Afro Samurai wouldn't have worked asa live action anyways. Still, let's see
