    @writer220 -- I sure as hell didn't. I don't like sports, let alone the Super Bowl. During my brief viewing, I lost count of how many bad commercials aired.

    @ghostman -- Damn straight.

    @bawnian-dexeus What obvious stupidity? There is no obvious stupidity and no stupidity involved period! Yes, Armie Hammer is the main cast in this movie, Johnny Depp is the not the main character, despite him being who he is and how much more well known he is then Armie Hammer. Also, the with the looks of things The Lone Ranger movie, appears to so far be an action western, not just a western or just an action movie.

    @stefanos No, There will be no wolves in this movie, they were taken out before there was even any filming, meaning when they were still writing the script for the Lone Ranger.

    I take it all of you watched that horrible superbowl. I hate sports with a passion and rightly so, it takes away all the shows that I like.
    Mindless apes running around - that's what some people think.

    Archery is a deadly sport, billards is cool too.
    I'm not hyped about this film, a western is about gun fights, story and good acting. I do still like Depp but being the same character in every film now is really boring. He won't get an Oscor if he carries on this way.

    @stefanos I do and you don't have to CAPS me. But I can judge if I want to, regardless, and there are a bunch of people who 80% of the time year-round, are right about their initial perception. When I'm proven wrong, I take it like a man and move forward

    @stefanos And, as for Western movies being just that, my only reasons behind it is the lack of genre. Sure, there will be more Cowboys and Aliens along the road, but before this genre thrived Hollywood and made a career for a certain iconic actor. It wouldn't kill anyone to have more True Grits (the remake and original)

    @stefanos I can't argue with giving the story a fresh take. You have a point there, but hey, that's the beauty of healthy arguments. We don't stab each other to make a point, and regardless the outcome, we all walk away happy

    @bawnian-dexeus Yes..! But you like more a western in the west film or action movie in the west..!? We saw lots of western in the west films..!!!!! We need something new...and I now the lone ranger,is old movie,and you in america,you want if they do reboot,or something like that,you want to be the same,no it must be new,with old story in backround...!

    @stefanos I think we've established that there are no werewolves in this movie. As for the 200 million dollar budget? Subtract at least 50 million for Depp's fees. As for my "negativity"? I think I've made my reasons well known, regardless of Sean's obvious stupidity. It's the Lone Ranger, but it's Tonto's story? I'll see it, but so far, I'm not sold. Will I change my mind after viewing it? Possibly, but let's not forget this is an action movie in the west, not a western in the west.

    @Tektuo@themoviefanatic@bawnian-dexeus Tektuo,you are right,200 million budget,and we didn't see nothing so special,but I listened in the movie will have wolves,and they will give lots of money for the cgi...but in trailer and tv spot we did not see nothing about wolves...Never mind...Sean and Bawnian he is the lone ranger film...but because Bawnian saw the film with negative eye,so all time he critic this film with negative critic...! :) And the film looks,good...

    I still can't see why this movie has a $200 million budget. Even the visual effects are quite shoddy! Green screen on the train sequence is soo obvious. Also...acting wise, it seems to me Johnny Depp has been playing the same character ever since the Pirates movies.

    This looks like it'll be another great-and-fun movie from Gore Verbinski. I absolutely loved "Rango" (which got me very surprised) and the first 3 "POTC" movies. :-)
