‘The Impossible’ ’True Story’ Featurette

Director Juan Antonio Bayona’s drama explores the harrowing tale of a family who survived a deadly 2004 tsunami.

The Impossible stars Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts as a true-life couple who decide to spend Christmas in Thailand, only to have their world torn apart on December 26, 2004 by a deadly tsunami. Summit Entertainment has released a new featurette, with footage of the stars meeting their real-life counterparts, and interviews with director Juan Antonio Bayona, screenwriter Sergio G. Sánchez, and the real survivors of this devastating event.

The Impossible was released December 21st, 2012 and stars Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor, Tom Holland, Samuel Joslin, Oaklee Pendergast, Marta Etura, Soenke Möhring, Geraldine Chaplin. The film is directed by Juan Antonio Bayona.
