‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Drew Struzan Inspired Poster

Artist Alexander Stojanov hand-draws an amazing poster utilizing some of the new characters from Christopher Nolan’s final Batman opus.

Taking his cues from the insurmountable amount of spy footage that has leaked from the set of The Dark Knight Rises, artist Alexander Stojanov has created a Drew Struzan-inspired poster that, while considered fan art, is actually quite awesome. Its better than most of the official posters appearing at the Cineplex right now (remember those awful X-Men: First Class posters?). Heck, this is even better than that "official" Drew Struzan-inspired Super 8 poster that made the rounds back in June. Check out Alexander Stojanov's handy work below, and let us know what you think. (Note: with the exception of the logo, the art in this poster was all hand-drawn and then manipulated in Painter X and Photoshop.)

And yeah, there is definetley a Star Wars vibe to it, and in some ways it does not really fit. But you can't deny that its looks awesome!

Thank you all for the comments on my drawing!I coudn't be more humbled and I can't believe the reception the image
is getting, it got almost 4000 views on it 's first day on Deviantart.
I made it for 2 days(and that's not two full days of drawing, if I knew the poster was gonna become so popular I would have worked on it more.

    All my best, always, Alex!

@mr-jellyfish@moviegeek@tmontana I agree, not liking them.... although good artwork, really shy's away from the tone of the series... of course have not been too thrilled with what has been released about it so far, so maybe the tone will lighten up some... hence... the dark knight rises.
