The Conjuring spin-off Annabelle has found its first two cast members, with Annabelle Wallis and Ward Horton set to star.

We first reported on the project back in November, when The Conjuring cinematographer John R. Leonetti signed on to direct. Gary Dauberman (Blood Monkey) is writing the screenplay, although no story details have been confirmed as of yet. It isn't known if the plot will take place before The Conjuring, where the haunted doll Annabelle was featured among the supernatural possessions of demonologists Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga).

Peter Safran is producing, with The Conjuring director James Wan serving as executive producer. It isn't known when production may begin.

Annabelle Wallis is best known for her role on the U.K. series Peaky Blinders and the mini-series Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond. She also had roles in ABC's Pan Am and Showtime's The Tudors, along with films such as X-Men: First Class, W.E., Body of Lies and an uncredited turn in Snow White and the Huntsman.

Ward Horton most recently starred in The Wolf of Wall Street.
