Whether you are a citizen of Cleveland, Ohio, or you are planning to visit this great city as part of your summer vacation this August, you can be a part of film history as Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures plans to utilize over 2,000 extras for their upcoming Marvel epic The Avengers.

The Avengers is set to be the single largest production to ever shoot in the Ohio era. The Greater Cleveland Film Commission has not yet release information on how you can become a part of this production, but that information will be made available at a later date.

Starting in August, director Joss Whedon and his cast, which includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, and Samuel L. Jackson, will film scenes for two months, utilizing various locations in and around the city of Cleveland. The production is currently seeking experienced crewmembers, candidates of which can send their resume to: Cleveland@cupber.com (Howard the Duck, though you are part of the Marvel family and live in the Cleveland era, you need not apply).

Extras working on the set of The Avengers will be paid between $50 and $100 a day, and will receive free meals. No touching the actors, though!
