After a year apart, Sam and Dean are reunited in the eighth season premiere. After escaping from Purgatory with the help of a vampire named Benny, Dean heads straight for Sam, but the reunion isn't everything he imagined it would be. Although Sam drops everything to rejoin his brother, leaving the life he had grown accustomed to turns out to be harder than he imagined. In the meantime, Dean's association with a vampire turns out to be more than he bargained for. As the brothers struggle with their unexpected reunion, they make a shocking discovery that could lead them on a deeply personal mission to settle some old scores and seal the Gates of Hell forever. If only they could agree - is this a "family business" or isn't it?

Entering its ninth season on The CW this fall in its new Tuesday 9 p.m. ET/PT timeslot, Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki (Friday the 13th, Gilmore Girls) and Jensen Ackles (Smallville, My Bloody Valentine) as Sam and Dean Winchester. I think I'll start watching this show after finishing 'Charmed' and catching up with 'Vampire Diaries'
I still have to watch 'Fringe' and 'Southland'

I love Supernatural and thought season 8 was the best season of the series other than 5.

That being said, this cover art is lame. Dean has his arms crossed in a way so his muscles show lol....

And Sam is basically doing the robot...
