DC and Warner Bros.' Suicide Squad is gearing up for production in the next couple of weeks, and the set builders are hard at work creating the world this group of super villains will live within. Director David Ayer has shared more photos on his personal Twitter as these sets start to come together. And star Viola Davis has also chimed in with some new insight into her character, the iconic villain Amanda Waller.

Viola Davis was recently asked what appealed to her about the project. She explained that she has been a long time fan of comic books. And that should definitely help her bring Amanda Waller to the big screen. The acclaimed actress stated:

"As a comic book and Wonder Woman fan, I love the whole DC Comics universe. I traded comics as a kid so all of that appeals to me. When you dream about being an actor as a kid, that's what you dream about. It's like play acting: being the superhero, getting the gun; it plays into that fantasy. How to Get Away with Murder changed my exposure. I don't know if it changed the quality of roles as much as it the exposure. I mean certainly Amanda Waller is a fabulous character."

Along with David Ayer's set photos, the director was asked to describe Jared Leto's Joker in one word. He gives us that one word in a Tweet, which offers just a teeny tiny bit of insight into what we'll be seeing on screen next year. Check it out along with the latest set photos:
