"Male, 7 ft to 7.3 ft tall with a slim/thin build and upright posture. Not too worked out or too 'thick set' especially in the shoulders. Broad facial features would be a bonus."
Of course, since we know very little about the story, it is possible that this casting call is for a completely different, yet very tall character. Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, stood 7'3" tall. The actor recently underwent a knee surgery, which puts him out of the running to return as Chewbacca or any other Wookie. The actor last portrayed the character in 2005's Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
The casting call also seemingly confirms a report from August, which revealed that production is getting under way in January 2014 at Pinewood Studios in London. The notice also listed J.J. Abrams, Kathleen Kennedy and Bryan Burk as producers, with Tommy Harper serving as executive producer. The casting call is for an "Untitled Studio Feature" from "Walt Disney Pictures/LucasFilm/Bad Robot," so it's safe to assume this notice is for Star Wars: Episode VII.
Star Wars: Episode VII comes to theaters December 18th, 2015 and stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams.
