Back in February, we reported that Disney XD is working on a new five-episode animated series entitled Lego Star Wars: Droid Tales, which will air later this year before Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18. Today, the creative team behind this new Star Wars TV series will take the stage at Star Wars Celebration with a panel from 4:30 PM PT to 5:30 PM PT, which will be the fourth and final live-streaming panel of the day. It hasn't been confirmed who exactly will be present at this panel, but we'll find out in just a few short hours.

Our report from February revealed that the show's five 22-minute episodes will be an animated version of all six Star Wars movies, but with a new twist: the movies are being re-told through the robotic eyes of the beloved droids C-3PO and R2D2, with a brand new story set after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. The show follows an "accidental kidnapping" that leads the droids to re-tell the entire Star Wars saga, in chronological order, from Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace to Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. The creative team behind the series has never been confirmed, so perhaps we'll learn who is behind this story later today.

It's possible that they could also announce exactly when Lego Star Wars: Droid Tales will premiere on Disney XD, but we don't know for certain. They could also unveil the official voice cast, since it has never been confirmed if Anthony Daniels will come back to voice C-3PO or not. At any rate, you can check out all of the action below with the live-streaming video, and stay tuned for more details on Lego Star Wars: Droid Tales.
