While promoting his new project 99 Homes at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield spoke to reporters at the Toronto Sun and teased his potential involvement in Drew Goddard's upcoming villain spin-off The Sinister Six.

While he doesn't say much, it sounds like his screen time will be limited. Here is what Andrew Garfield had to say about appearing in the movie:

"I know more than I'm allowed to say right now. I can say I'm really excited about Drew Goddard, who's going to be writing and directing The Sinister Six movie. And whether I'm involved in that or not is kind of immaterial."

Although he didn't reveal much, it appears that Spider-man may not have much to do in movie. The Sinister Six will hit theater in November of 2016, so a lot can change by then. The actor will once again take the lead in the upcoming sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 3, set to be released sometime in 2018.

The team of super-villains is suspected to include Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, and Sandman, but the official line-up has yet to be confirmed. Could the project be setting up the next wave of films? Check back to find out as more information becomes available.
