During the end credits for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, fans could use the Shazam app, which revealed a series of images teasing the villainous lineup for the upcoming Sinister Six movie. The images are believed to represent Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Rhino, Vulture, Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio. We also showed you a TV spot for the Target-exclusive Blu-ray release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which includes a bonus disc that teases The Sinister Six. A video from that bonus disc has hit the web, where Marc Webb confirms Kraven and Mysterio are a part of The Sinister Six line-up.

When the images were first revealed, some thought that the mask actually belonged to Chameleon, but that was debunked shortly thereafter. However, we reported in April, soon after the images debuted, that The Sinister Six may change before production is scheduled to begin in January.

Marc Webb claims in this video that there was a deleted scene where The Gentleman, a.k.a. Gustav Fiers (Michael Massee) visits the cryogenically frozen head of Norman Osborne (Chris Cooper), which paves the way for Norman to return for the sequel as well.

Sony Pictures announced at Comic-Con that The Sinister Six will arrive in 2016, with The Amazing Spider-Man 3 being pushed to 2018.
