What you are looking at is Norman Osborn's cryogenically frozen head!

As it was previously revealed, Norman (Chris Cooper) does die in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, with Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) taking on the mantle of Green Goblin. Norman has been afflicted by a mysterious illness that only Peter Parker's blood can cure. When Harry, working as Goblin, and Electro fail to obtain the mutant spider blood, Norman passes away, and Harry is sent off to Ravencroft. In the post-credit scene, we are once again introduced to The Man in the Shadows, from The Amazing Spider-Man's post-credit sequence. We see him walking up to the cryogenically frozen head as he whispers, 'Wake up old friend."

So, Norman is surely going to make a comeback in The Amazing Spider-Man 3. What do you think of this revelation? Sorry you looked?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was released May 2nd, 2014 and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Felicity Jones, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field. The film is directed by Marc Webb.

That's not correct at all. Maybe you're thinking of the Ultimate version of the comics or something, but Harry definitely becomes the Green Goblin in the mainstream comic continuity. The Hobgoblin is a different guy all together.
Check out the Marvel wiki if you think I'm wrong.

Ok i want to point out real quick that Harry is NOT the green goblin he never has been and never will be... in the comics he was known as The Hobgoblin... and thats who he was in this movie. His father is still the Green goblin...which it looks like they may still do in a later movie

Considering that this movie's likely gonna bomb in the box office and with critics alike? Don't care. Next.

Wow, they "Silvermaned" Norman Osborn. What the !@#$ are they doing to Spider-Man?!!! It's Bad enough that they made Harry Osborn the first Green Goblin. If they Ruin Venom, everything I was will wither away...when it comes to Spider-Man at least.

Studios do this when movies are going south. Not a good sign when the best parts of the movie are being pre-released.

So when did Norman lose his head? What battle? Is Kingpin behind it? Why is there so many super villains? Did Spidey finally lose it? Did he chop off G G head? There shouldn't be so many questions in one film, at least explain what happened. Secrets should be revealed in any film before it's finished but it looks like Webb is a fan of Lost.

Not that big of a spoiler as Chris Cooper has said in the past that he isnt in much this movie, but will be a bigger piece in third one.

@superman81 Dane Dehann may surprise u. Ive seen him in a few flicks and he's a young, powerful actor. Dont worry! He should be alright. This film has young talent I wouldnt worry too much. Go watch Chronicle if you have any doubts

I am just glad to see that we might actually get a Norman Osborne Green Goblin in the near future. Dane DeHaan looks absolutely dreadful in this movie as the Green Goblin.

i wont bother to read the above section, but my only question is why?
Why would there be such thing as a frozen head of somebody's body? we know who he is i mean, but this all makes it look comic type rather than reality. & aint it funny how somebody has place like this somewhere. that nobody knows about.
