French movie site Cinema Teaser revealed that actor Gilles Lellouche has joined the cast of Sherlock Holmes II.

The Guy Ritchie sequel is currently in production, and is prepping to shoot in Paris and Strasbourg, France. The French daily newspaper Les Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace revealed these production details:

"The filming will take place for a few days at the foot of Notre Dame. During this period, Haberdasher Street merchants, in particular, should lower the curtain and the area would be cordoned off. Production would have expected to compensate them based on their weekly figure."

The newspaper also revealed that the movie's main stars, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, will not appear in these scenes shot by the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.

It wasn't revealed what role Gilles Lellouche would play, although Cinema Teaser speculated that he could play The Swede. We'll keep you posted with any further Sherlock Holmes II details as soon as we have more information.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was released December 16th, 2011 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, Rachel McAdams, Jared Harris, Stephen Fry, Paul Anderson, Kelly Reilly. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie.

thats very true, company's should let the directors do their thing, not push them, i liked ironman 2 though, i guess he made it passable in that aspect

@Diaigma...Thats true, look wat happened with Ironman 2, Favreau admits on the dvd that since Marvel rushed the production of the movie and also wanted him to plant so many easter eggs for The Avengers, he wasnt able to make the film he wanted to make, ironman 2 is good, but im sure if they had given him the time and freedom, he wouldve made it as good as the first film...
