Seven ‘Gangster Squad’ Clips Take You Inside 1940s L.A.

Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, and Sean Penn star in director Ruben Fleischer’s true crime drama about the L.A.P.D.’s war against Mickey Cohen.

With its release just one week away, Warner Bros. has unveiled seven new clips from Gangster Squad, director Ruben Fleischer's searing crime drama based on the true story of the L.A.P.D.'s war against mobster Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn). Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling star as the leaders of this elite police unit, who will stop at nothing to make the streets of Los Angeles safe from this East Coast influx of gangsters. These scenes serve as a tiny taste of all the action you can see on the big screen, starting January 11.

Gangster Squad was released January 11th, 2013 and stars Sean Penn, Holt McCallany, Wade Williams, James Hébert, Ambyr Childers, Josh Brolin, Mick Betancourt, Mac Brandt. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer.
