Just one day after signing on to direct the video game adaptation Uncharted, Seth Gordon has become attached to direct and develop Queen of Hearts, a biopic on Alice in Wonderland author Lewis Carroll.

The script was written by Stephanie Shannon, which landed on the 2013 Black List and also won the 2013 Niccol Fellowship in Screenwriting. The story centers on an Oxford professor (Lewis Carroll) who tells stories to the dean's daughter Alice while engaging in an affair with the dean's wife. Brokenhearted after the affair ended, he was inspired to write the classic tale Alice in Wonderland.

Seth Gordon's manager, David McIlvain, is producing alongside OddLott Entertainment and the Brillstein Entertainment Group. Stephanie Shannon wrote the script while working as an assistant to David McIlvain.

Seth Gordon's current priority is Uncharted, with Queen of Hearts to follow after that production wraps up.
