Second ‘The Divide’ Poster

Milo Ventimiglia, Rosanna Arquette, and Michael Biehn star in Xavier Gens’ thriller about nine New York neighbors trying to survive a nuclear attack.

Anchor Bay Entertainment has released the second poster for The Divide (previously known as The Fallout), which hits theaters on January 13, 2012. Take a look at the one-sheet below for Xavier Gens' thriller starring Milo Ventimiglia, Rosanna Arquette, and Michael Biehn.

The Divide Poster

In this graphic and violent, post-apocalyptic thriller, nine strangers-all tenants of a New York high rise apartment-escape a nuclear attack by hiding out in the building's bunker-like basement. Trapped for days underground with no hope for rescue, and only unspeakable horrors awaiting them on the other side of the bunker door, the group begins to descend into madness, each turning on one another with physical and psycho-sexual torment. As supplies dwindle, and tensions flare, and they grow increasingly unhinged by their close quarters and hopelessness, each act against one another becomes more depraved than the next. While everyone in the bunker allows themselves to be overcome by desperation and lose their humanity, one survivor holds onto a thin chance for escape even with no promise of salvation on the outside.

The Divide was released January 13th, 2012 and stars Lauren German, Michael Biehn, Milo Ventimiglia, Michael Eklund, Ashton Holmes, Rosanna Arquette, Courtney B. Vance, Iván González. The film is directed by Xavier Gens.

Excellent film, one of my faves from 2011. I think the poster is a little misleading as you only see "The Blast" for like 20 seconds at the beginning of the film.

@thrashnasty190 I've seen their faces, but I wouldn't recognize them by name in a conversation. As for Michael Biehn, well DUH! Who doesn't?

Psycho-Sexual torment eh? Seems like another example of recycled Hollywood cashing in on blood, guts, gore, and sex. But the scenario IS new for such a story. "The Road" (2009) after all didn't feature any psycho-sexuality in it despite being the most recent post-apocalyptic genre film to feature psychos in it.
