Second ‘Filth’ International Red Band Trailer

James McAvoy stars as a corrupt cop who will do anything to solve a brutal murder and secure a promotion in director Jon S. Baird’s dark comedy.

Corrupt cop Bruce Robertson (James McAvoy ) is as dirty as they come in the second international red band trailer for Filth, an adaptation of the novel by Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh. Although he is a man of numerous vices, that doesn't stop Bruce from "enforcing" the law in his own colorful way, while also gunning for a big promotion. Take a look at this age-restricted footage that showcases an all-star cast including Jamie Bell, Imogen Poots, Jim Broadbent, and Eddie Marsan.

    Filth could be one of my most favourite of Welshes work, and i myself would have loved to direct this, but seems to be its already in the right hands. Got one of my favourite chapters on show, looks like a pure grit, dirt driven puke spewing ride. Nuts, unfavorably crude, sickening, but its still a great character study.
