Scott Eastwood Joins the Cast of 'Fury'

The actor plays Sergeant Miles in director David Ayer's true-story World War II drama about a five-man tank unit stuck behind enemy lines.

Scott Eastwood has signed on to star in Fury for writer-director David Ayer (End of Watch).

The actor joins a cast that already includes Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman and Michael Peña in this World War II action drama that follows a five-man Sherman Tank crew who are stuck behind enemy lines during the tail end of the war. Scott Eastwood is playing a member of the tank crew, Sergeant Miles.

David Ayer is directing from his own screenplay, with Bill Block, John Lesher and Ethan Smith producing for QED International. Shooting is scheduled to begin next month.

The actor, who is the son of screen legend Clint Eastwood, recently starred in Trouble with the Curve, Chasing Mavericks and Texas Chainsaw 3D.

Fury was released October 17th, 2014 and stars Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña, Jon Bernthal, Jim Parrack, Brad William Henke, Kevin Vance. The film is directed by David Ayer.
