Sam Neill and Rosamund Pike have boarded french director Pascal Chaumeil's dramedy A Long Way Down. The project also stars Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette, Imogen Poots, and Aaron Paul.

This adaptation of Nick Hornby's novel centers on four strangers, who meet on New Year's Eve at the top of a London skyscraper. Although they each intended to jump off the building to commit suicide, they make a pact to help each other confront their own demons.

Sam Neill was most recently seen in The Vow with Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams. Rosamund Pike just wrapped Christopher McQuarrie's Jack Reacher alongside Tom Cruise.

Production is currently under way in the U.K. and Spain.

A Long Way Down was released July 11th, 2014 and stars Rosamund Pike, Aaron Paul, Pierce Brosnan, Imogen Poots, Toni Collette, Sam Neill, Joe Cole, Tuppence Middleton. The film is directed by Pascal Chaumeil.
