When asked if Kevin Smith's proposed plan of releasing the sequel in theaters this November, to coincide with the 20th Anniversary of Clerks, the actress had this to say.
In a lengthy post on his Facebook page last month, Kevin Smith revealed that he wants to start production this May. While it may seem like a stretch to expect a six-month turnaround from shooting to release, the filmmaker worked on a similar schedule with his upcoming Tusk, which was conceived and shot in just six months. The script for Clerks III has been finished since May, although no story details have been released.
Brian O'Halloran, whose Dante character got engaged to Rosario Dawson's Becky at the end of Clerks II, will likely return to star, alongside Jeff Anderson (Randall), Jason Mewes (Jay) and the director himself as Silent Bob.
After Gimme Shelter, which opens on January 24, Rosario Dawson will next be seen in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
